People seem very surprised when I tell them I eat frozen vegetables because they’re healthier than fresh vegetables (since I live nowhere near a farm). Some people actually think I’m joking. Clearly the fresh veg lobby is doing its job well.
@ChadPatelNJ But fresh veg are often picked before ripe and lose nutrients in transport and storage. (Can’t find evidence of it breaking down fiber.) So both lose nutrients. Though the difference isn’t huge, I think it’s a modest win for frozen.
