^ I also started being much more inquisitive during conversations with doctors in the last few years and I think it is a very good idea. Not everyone can do their own medical research well (The Complexity of Simply Searching for Medical Advice) but everyone can at least listen carefully to their doctors and force them to think better in the moment.
